Two Tap Trio CD Launch, March 13

 Admission $5,  Doors 7PM, Show 8PM

The Two Tap Trio is Norah Rendell (flute, vocals, whistle), Nathan Gourley (fiddle) and Brian Miller (guitar, bouzouki, vocals). Formed in 2007 and based in the Twin Cities, this Irish traditional music group is pleased to announce the release of their debut album “A Night at the Fair” this March.   With Canadian Traditional Singer of the Year Nominee Norah Rendell on vocals and tight-knit tunes on fiddle, flute, guitar and bouzouki, the Two Tap Trio is at home in concert halls and ceilis and they’re fast becoming a Midwestern favorite.  All three members are very active in the Twin Cities Irish music and dance community as performers and as teachers at the St. Paul-based Center for Irish Music and, in Norah’s case, O’Shea Irish Dance. The Two Tap Trio has toured throughout the Midwest including 2009 debuts at the Milwaukee Irish Festival and Weston Irish Fest (Missouri).  This January, they brought their music to the Caribbean as part of the Irish Festival Cruise. Expect strong toe-tapping instrumentals on fiddle, flute and guitar and top notch singing, sometimes in harmony and always from the heart.
