Saint Patrick's Day Irish Céilí Dance, March 17

7PM to 10PM, Admission $8, Students and Ages 60 and over, $5, Ages 5 and under, free

Traditional Irish folk dances taught by Paul McCluskey with traditional Irish dance music by the Twin Cities Ceili Band. 

The Lóma mór Irish Dance Club was formed in 2000 to bring the fun, healthful, and community-building aspects of Traditional Irish Dance to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.  The Club promotes the Irish culture through weekly classes and monthly ceilis (dances).  In addition, regular workshops are hosted which bring to Minnesota the most prominent Irish dance masters from Ireland.  Activities are geared towards adult and teen dancers of all ages and skill levels, as the Club’s focus is on inclusiveness and social benefits, as well as skill improvement.  The Club is also an active supporter of the larger Irish community through it’s participation in the region’s largest Irish events including the Irish Music and Dance Association’s “Day of Dance” and the Irish Fair of Minnesota.
