From the 1950s and into the 1980s, Liam Miller played a central role in Irish graphic arts, Irish theatre, Irish Catholicism, and Irish poetry. Above, he and his Dolmen Press brought the parochial and backward parish of Irish publishing out of isolation and into international critical repute.

 

 

 

 

Thomas Dillon Redshaw is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of St. Thomas. He edited both Eire-Ireland and New Hibernia Review and has published numerous articles on Irish poetry since 1971.
