Saint Paul Irish Arts Week, April 15-24

Irish Arts Week Trifold, MAP of Irish Arts Week

Irish Fair of Minnesota, the Celtic Junction, and the Consulate General of Ireland in Chicago are pleased to present programming to recognize the historic 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising.

Modeled after the successful decades-long Arts weeks in Ireland (Kilkenny, Galway, Kinsale, Westport, etc.) this inaugural Saint Paul Irish Arts Week commemorates through multiple events and performances arguably the most important event in modern Irish history.

On Easter Monday, April 24, 1916, Irish rebels defied British authority and proclaimed an independent Irish republic. All of the signatories of the proclamation were executed, but the movement towards Irish independence was unstoppable.

Please join us for some or all, of the events and please share them with your friends and family.
